Standard GTI front calipers on 280 discs

1990 GTI cabby. Upgrading the front discs to drilled and grooved 280mm. Wanting to use the existing caliper's, can anyone tell me whether there is an "off the shelf" adapter to fit them to the larger discs? plenty available to fit g60 caliper's but I haven't found any for the mk1 caliper's.

Has anyone else done this?

Bought some many years ago, from autocavan if my memory is correct. they are long gone as is the company who sold them,  dont know anyone who sells them now.

Just for everyones info, i sourced a set, they're absolutely perfect! crazy quiffs…not cheap, but fit absolutely perfect. with green stuff pads and 280mm grooved and drilled g60 discs, the braking has improved 10 fold!
