Springs advice

Looking for some spring advice if poss. O_oRunning a 90s cab that has munroe shocks all round and lowered by 40mm I would say, however problem is rubbing on rear arches only.

Not sure of springs but it's really loose at the back, and with 2 kids in the back it rubs going over any little bump.

Any advice on what to upgrade to please?

Looking at both AP and G Max springs on eBay, just want firmer ride without all the rubbing and keeping ride height as it is.

Cheers

What size wheels and tyres do you have fitted? I did drop my Cabriolet by 40mm and never had any problems with rubbing with 4 people and a boot full of stuff, I was using the original 14" wheels with 185/60/14

1988 Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet 1.8cc DX, K-jet. Daily drive. 317,000 miles and counting

Ive got bbs reps on there, lenso and they are 14" I believe.
With me and 2 x 3 year olds in the back in rubs badly.
It's really soft so must need some tough springs.
What you running with?
Cheers

Just to throw in my 2p - we had a look at Matt's car at our regional meet last weekend. The springs are really soft, much softer than my Weitec.

When I had the Azev's fitted which I think would give similar 'arch filling' to what Matt has and similar ride height I had no rubbing. The springs are surprisingly soft.
