Just bought some Springs.. Starter for 10 what are they?

Just took a gamble and got these off Gumtree with the seller saying they were off a Mk1 GTI but wasn't sure if they were lowered or anything.

I currently have the worst ride in the world totally solid and uncompfortable so hopefully won't make things worse.

So anyone care to guess what I have? The shocks are Eibach but not sure on the rest…

Probably are those cheap ones on ebay and it'll be fire to frying pan.

Should I be able to simply stand the shocks next to each other when off the car to see if these are lower/higher or will it be down to springs and their load ratings.

I'll be down to the springs in length

But the ones out of the car you would have to take the top mounts of the release the springs compression to get a true comparison

Make sure you use spring compressors to remove the old set

with the rears be aware there are 2 diameters of shocks, so your old spring seats may not fit those new ones
