golf mk1 gear problems

my mk1 kept loseing revise so i changed the following
gearbox 020
gear selecters
gear stick
gear rods
everythink to do with gear box i have changed but still no revise gear any ideas cheers

might be a silly question but have you tried pushing the gear stick down? then along and into reverse? it could easily be the adjustment on the linkage the bolt clamps onto the rod but you need to have it just right, it helps if there is someone that can sit in the car whilst you adjust it at the same time. or you could just buy mine http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=291066179563
