Recondition

Hi All.
Can anyone recommend a Auto Gearbox reconditioning company in the South East, got Mk1 clipper 1800 Auto, the original box kept jumping out of gear. Another gearbox came with the car and want to get it checked/recon to save a lot of grief and time….

Not really up on the auto box but I know with a manual gearbox if it keeps jumping out of gear it's because the oil level is low?
How old is the oil in your gearbox and what is the level like?

Autos, don't usually "POP" out of gear.
If you manually select the gears 1-2-3 do they stay in?

Gear issues are usually:
Insufficient ATF.
Too Much ATF.
Valve Body Contamination.
Governor Weights loose.
Shift Cable maladjustment, and the Tranny isn't fully detenting between gears.
