Front camber issues

Post

I took my gti to get the alignment done today because over the winter I fitted new track rods and ends and had my Avo coilovers rebuilt also.

I asked for 1.5 degree negative camber on the front but the guy was unable to set it to that on the drivers side, all he could achieve was 0.5 degree negative but on the passenger side it could be set as much as 2.0 negative. So what I've ended up with is 0.5 degree negative on both sides.

Any idea's why this could be?

He also asked me if I just wanted standard gti toe to which I agreed but is there any benefits to having it other than standard? The car will mainly be used on the road with the occasional track day.

Cheers

Si

Yep both in the top.

It was suggested to me that something might be bent somewhere but I've not noticed anything and I've been under the car and inside the arches many things new over the last few months.

Might just have to get some camber top mounts if I can't find an alternative solution.
