Brake line flare

Does the VW need a double flare and which kit do you use?
I don't want to get a cheap kit as I want it to work, unless a cheap kit gets a good recommendation..,

It needs an SAE single flare and I wouldn't buy a cheap kit, they never work well.

I use one a bit like this :

I got a Franklin in the end as it was significantly cheaper, but does an excellent job. Very compact as well.
