Anyone got experience or local for a test ride?
would prefer a sports suspension kit, rather than coilovers, as I value my comfort on the road and the derbyshire roads are pretty third world quality!
dont want to go particularly low, up to 40mm from standard Mk1 (20mm more than GTi).
considering either Bilstein B12 pro kit, Koni Sport Suspension Kit, Spax PSX Kit. Will also add uprated ARB and strut brace kits, along with poly bushing.
anyone with experience of any of those please share your thoughts. I am interested in a good compromise between handling and comfort. The Spax are adjustable, so perhaps better to get the best for road and track?
Anyone not too far from Chesterfield with any of these setups. Could I blag a ride to see what they're like?
thanks in advance for any experience shared.

Lots of the boys I know all have the same set up.

You need to use the original front strut housings but this set up is so much better than my cheaper suspension kit that was on before.

Also, the Damper in the B12 kit has damping uprated by 30%, so stiffer, which is what I need for track use.

Maybe not for your track use but great for road use, I know 6 mates that have this set up for road use and it's perfect.

I was told that the Eibach's are better than the springs that come with the Koni sport kit.
My New Year's resolutions are: 1. Stop making lists. B. Be more consistent. 7. Learn to count.

If i wasn't doing a big 20v build I would of gone for them again, but at this moment in time I've just gone for new standard shocks with the koni sprigs as it seemed a waste of cash for the time being to just have it sat on them in the garage
