Bigger brakes - Vauxhall / any others

Ok, I know there is all the information on here regarding the Vauxhall caliper upgrades and there’s no need to reference back to it but my question is…

The cars specified are all getting to be fairly old now, and not many in the breakers around my area, which starts to end up like looking for VW 256mm caliper carrier situation. Has anyone found calipers / carriers from more modern vehicles that fit?

I have found a source for ( what is stated as ) new VW 256mm carriers and calipers, which is what I may end up going for but trying to watch ££ while I’m not working!

I see that Corsa from around 09/10 have 257mm disc with more or less same dimensions as the VW 256mm discs, have 54mm pistons. I’ll try to go to the scrappers to see the mountings / spacing of the bolts this week
