Auto gearbox help urgent

Hi guys I really need some autobox help, I have a rotational whirling noise coming from gearbox area,can't be sure if it's from box or torque converter.

The gearbox had new oil in about 1000 miles ago, have tried to check the oil level and found it seems very high but can't seem to get a good reading.

The noise developed this evening to a loss of drive, the car as it got hotter it drive got less and less to the point that I could rev the car hard and would not move in drive or reverse !!! I have a video of the noise but I'm waiting for photo bucket to approve so you can hear the noise.

The urgency is I'm using it as a wedding car in 5 weeks !!!!!!  

Sorry but I don't know much about the auto box but I would get the oil levels rights to see if that helps.
Did you use the correct grade/type of oil?

I'm guessing oil as it was the last thing you did to the gearbox…. 

was the filter done as well? i seem to recall you have to check the level with engine running? maybe?

Have sent the car to vw Leeds to have the work done !!! Suspect the gearbox could be kaput !!!
