Air Ride vs Coilovers

Hi guys,

I'm  gonna risk asking a dumb question….but if faced with an option, and cost was not a factor which would you choose and why? 

I am really keen on getting feedback from as many as possible. I am looking to lower my 90 cabby….not sure whether to go with coilovers or air ride. Obsviously air ride for when i pull in at meets and go to shows etc. But i have no idea about the safety for driving etc. Will i need to do any mods to my wheel arches? 

I made a cup of coffee…pulled the cabby out the garage and found myself sitting in the car …for a solid half hour thinking about all this haha
