4 speed to 5

Hey all 

In the middle of doing an Abf conversion and needed to get all the bits sorted for changing it to a 5 speed. It was a 1.3 before, does that mean I have to change anything else for example the steering rack ? Or would my other one bw fine?

what gearbox are you fitting?

Pretty sure it's an o2a box as I'm shortly gonna be doing an Abf conversion

Then your steering rack will be fine, assuming you,ll be using the cable change,

That's the plan. Which gearbox would mean a different rack then?

Glad they have arrived ok, if fitting the 02o 5 speed with the rod linkage you would need the corresponding rack as it has a little bracket on it you would need to use.
