Does anyone have a template to make a gasket for the lifter pump?

So fuel was (relatively) cheaper in my area recently and I decided to fill the tank. 1 min later there's fuel spilling all over the petrol station concrete. Turns out the O ring I had been using as a seal around the lifter pump was, well, not up to the job at all.
I'm planning to make my own gasket seeing as they're hard to come by here in Australia. Would anyone know if theres a template I could use (even a diameter measurement)?
Many thanks in advance.

It is an o-ring, and I have never had one to fail.
The O-Ring is 2 9/16" in diameter and 1/8 inch thick
So you may want to call about and see if you can source one locally.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
Where are my DIY Links?

Check the spec of the O-ring material, not all are fuel resistant, you'll need NBR

Hmm maybe mine didn't sit properly. It felt really loose (too big) when I last had it out so I thought it was a previous bodge job.
