Question on digifant Injectors

Hi

My 91 Cabriolet 2H engine is fitted with the digifant system.
It is coming up on 100k miles and from reading VW recommend changing the lambda probe at this mileage.

I was going to change out the fuel injectors but am wondering is there any need to,
The car is running well with no issues

Any ideas?

Thanks
David

No you don't have to change out the injectors, which is easy to do but unless they are screwing up the worst I have done on mine with 180K Miles is that when I have had to remove the fuel rail,  I picked them open, with a 9v battery and a spare scavenged connector from the yards, and sprayed them out with Berrymans B12.

O-rings are cheap for them.
but un-necessary it is far easier to buy a pint of SEAFoam engine treatment and pour 1/2 a bottle in oyur gas tank, then wait for one more tank, then use the remainder in the 3rd tank full.

If the car isn't running poorly, then I would leave the 02 sensor alone….. Don't fix what's not broke or you just might.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
