Sorry about another Newb question but I am finding it hard to find info online.
I need to replace the O rings on my injectors. At least one is leaking fuel from around the brass holder.
I found these online:
https://au.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Fuel-injector-seal-Upper-K-Jet-034133557E_act_shop.product_pID_108661504.htm?crumbStartPage=2&crumbStartRow=17
But I am not sure if it is the correct part. I (am pretty sure) I need to replace the green ring in this pic:
the ring on the site looks too small to me.
Can anyone tell me if it is the correct part before I purchase?
Thanks

As long as you have a K-jet system, later car use the air shroud injectors, to check yours uses the air shroud injectors look for an air hose between injectors 3 and 4 going to the throttle body area if you have then you will need the seals in the link from Massbad69 as you may as well replace both seals if you are taking the injector out.
If no air hose then you need the other type.
Digifant is a completely different injection system.

No because there was slight changes to the engine fuel system and other things over it's 12 ish years it was used. Most changes can be seen by looking so really easy to tell which type you have.andyphill said

well i have decided to stay away from the air shrouded injectors which came with the new EV head as i am using my existing metering system and hoses in the car from my dx engine so all i will do is take out the injectors and the injector seats from my old dx head thats being removed from the car and put them in the EV head and blank off the air feed hole on the back of the head..
the injectors from the dx head are nearly new along with the seals so HOPEFULLY the seats come out ok..
thats the plan anyway no doubt there will be another speed bump or 2..
