Can anybody help me with this problem

Hi there hope someone can help me on this
my 5th injector doesn't have power to it when trying to start the car from cold
Is there another censor that the 5th injector gets its power from or will it be a matter of tracing back the wire to see if there is a break in the wire?
i can put a direct live to the injector and it works fine?

any help would be great I know someone on here will have the answer

cheers

The 5th injector gets a single from the thermo time switch which is fitted to the water pipe flange on the front of the engine running to the top of the radiator, there is info in the Haynes manual on how to test the thermo switch, I tested mine a long time ago and I can't remember what I did.

the black wire feed to the 5th injector comes from the spade 15a on the starter motor, the green/white is the earth which goes to the thermoswitch and it will only allow a path to ground when engine is cold :)

earlier cars have a red/black to the 5th injecvtor which is tapped into the cranking live feed, it runs to a spade behind the fusebox which goes to a spade on the lighting loom
