Been a long, long, long time since I posted on here - but I'm about to complete reno on the car (will put up photos).
The radio I have in my Campaign has packed up - as has the CD stacker and amp!
So it's time for something new. Thing is when I look at the units for sale now they have more lights than a nightclub - I want something tasteful that I can preferably run an ipod (possibly with a single CD player and DAB. But something that looks subtle and befits era od the car....any ideas?
Cheers

They were used in most Mercs and are good quality and can be picked up quite cheap. Although as you're after ipod connectivity then you'll need the after market ones. They do some that include sat nav. You'll be looking at 00's though!

You can change the lighting colour so needless to say, mine is green

I do like the idea of the Pure unit as it has DAB - but I'm using old school electric aerial on the wing - and don't really want to setup another aerial.
There seems to be a converter (model no: Autoleads PC6-536 - DAB Aerial splitter). Would love to post a link but for some reason can't paste into this forum!!
The other option is the Blaupunkt Toronto 420 BT - all the features of the Pure without the DAB - the microphone is built in for phone. Good looking unit for same price.
Decisions decisions...!

You don't really notice it there and the reception is great too

Like you, I don;t like these 'silver space pasty' units that you see everywhere.

Lights up slightly more yellow than green, but it's what i'll be sticking with. Good quality sound too.
