Hiya,
Got a dodgy interior light switch and was going to swap it out.. But as I have the golf 'c' for cheap, there's no passenger door switch. I wouldn't mind this luxury for the sake of a few quid for a switch if the wiring is there, so my question is does anyone know if the wiring is behind the switch blank? Cheers

look around the A pillar for a brown/white, but i think its unlikely to be there as if it was left in it could float about and earth randomly bringing on the light. Adding it is simple, just tap a wire to the driver side door pin switch and run it round to the passenger side (this is how VW do it)

Okay cheers- I'll have a look, makes sense that they wouldn't leave a floating earth though!
