indicator issue Help Plzz :)!

Hi guys wondered if someone could shed some light on this as car is due its MOT.

When i indicate left i get both left and right lights on and i even think fog lights flashing to… same case when i indicate right.

the hazards are working fine no issues.

Its like all bulbs are flashing once i indicate left or right … im confused ive changed relay for hazard light.. checked the ground …


Any help would be amazing

just been out and done a few things reinsert relay and now when indicate i get both indicating lights on left and right same time flashing… hazard light works fine. 

Thats my new problem lol any ideas?

Hi

Thanks for that.. I have followed those steps and now changed the hazard relays and hazard switch cleaned earth point under fusebox.

Any other ideas? Checked all bulbs etc.

has it got an alarm or immobiliser, i would look at the wiring  from that. otherwise check the wiring from the stalk and hazard switch looking for shorts between the black/green and black/white wires these are the left and right indicator wires.

Hi my indicators have just stopped working both left and right. I have just fitted new hazard  switch and hazards are working fine!  The dash green light comes on but none of the flashers light up so any ideas  chaps?

Hi mate

my issue with the indicators was solved.. when i got the alarm fitted the guy did not connect it properly it was back feeding causing the indicators to flash every time i indicated, im not sure of the technical terms but  thats how it was solved lol.

Fixed, bloody fuse was blown but didn't look blown!!
