You really need to view www.cabby-info.com
You really need to get a Bentley/Haynes, and you really need to know about a2resource.com.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

A/C or non-ac and year specific.

Older models had a resistor pack on the side of the airbox that once removed looked like a bunch of wire springs and not a resistor per-say.

Later models had either a replacement resistor attached to the Motor, or on the Cabbies with air a resistor that was welded to the motor.
