Dash water warning light

Hi iv done a g60 conversion iv done away with the header tank but now the water light in the clocks won't go off just keeps flashing  the clocks a have two plugs
But iv only got the wiring for one plug the rev counts works an batt light goes out so sort off works apart from this water warning light any clues to how k stop the light flashing thanks

Install a 50-200 ohm 1/4 watt resistor on the plug of the Water Coolant level under the bonnet.
