Dash lights not working?

Hello, I can't get my dash lights to work at all although all the cluster Gauges are operating correctly. (Speedo, rev counter etc)
I've taken apart my dash and changed all 3 bulbs on the cluster but still no joy?
The only lights that light up at night are the ones on the electric windows switches. The handbrake light works correctly also.
Could it be something as daft as a blown fuse or is it likely to be something more complex?

Twiddle the rheostat on the headlight switch. It may be that they are just dimmed too much and need the brightness turning up?

Yeah I tried that but literally no light coming from it at all. I've ordered a new headlight switch so i'll try that and see what happens!

check the blue/grey wire from light switch, trace it thru the dash loom looking for snips and meltyness.

Ah now that is interesting. I noticed yesterday the number plate lights weren't working! I'll check the fuse then! Cheers

aye the later cars swpped the dash light power feed to the plate light fuse, a good idea really as on early models the dash lighting isnt fused at all and often the wires chafe and melt!
