Fan speed controller

I am hoping that you can help – I am looking for a replacement relay for a Radiator Coolant Fan Control Relay VW Part No 701919505 as fitted to my 1993 Golf MK1 Cabriolet Vin WVWZZZ15ZPK004824 - Engine No 2H081473 – 1800 cc. My relay has 3 pins.  I have attached some pictures which may help. Relay 6.jpg   Relay 1.jpg

That part number is crossing to a horn relay.

Here are the usual positions of the Relays in a 93 cabriolet.

But I did find that the 2 interlock relays for the automatic are on the back side of the Kneebar.

If you are talking about the fan relay under the hood to right of the car as you look at it, near the battery, should be mounted to a fender bolt.

That is the standard VW or Bosch 53 relay.
It is a 4 prong relay, and is the same that you would buy at a car parts store for relaying driving lights or fogs and such.

It is called the after run fan relay.
