12v supply to AAV?

Hello,

Car is a 91 Rivage (1.8 GTi)

Having issues with idle (goes up to almost 2k rpm but then really low to 750rpm when it’s warm and after I restart the engine) so looking at the AAV for a start as I’ve just replaced a bunch of vacuum hoses. I’ve read that the AAV should have 12v on the switch with the ignition on, is that correct? I can’t get any voltage with ignition on.

I’ve also checked the switch at the 5th injector (no voltage with ignition on)
And the idle speed boost valve switch (that one gets 12v with ignition on).




I’ve checked for continuity to ground on the yellow wire of the AAV switch and that’s good.

Are there any fuses or relays to check?
