'84 cab foglight tell tale is inoperative

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice. My cab failed on the fog light tell tale. The rear fog works fine but the tell tale does not illuminate. Will this be as simple as a bulb? I stripped the switch and the bulbs look like a pain to change.

Anyone got any pointers?

its most likely the bulb, but its worth checkign the brown wire from the switch is earthed. it will run to a spade near the fusebox which needs to be plugged into one of the earth claws

Thanks for your response! It was the earth wire. I didn't fancy pulling the dash to trace it so have run it to a nearby bolt with a ring terminal! Thanks for the help
