What order would be the best? (Floor and sills and rear beam mount)

Post

In my project I need to replace both floors, inner/outer sills on both sides and the rear beam mount on both sides. The A pillar looks good if relevant. As to the center of the floor. My question is - what would be the best order when doing this? First sills and then floors? The floors are just barely hanging in there so there is minor/no support in them.

Keeping fingers crossed that one of you guys having been through the same procedure can give me some tips. Thank you!

I would have thought sills first then floors. I stand to be corrected but would say that the sills play a much larger role in the overall structural strength and integrity than the floor pans and would need to be done first.

Sounds very reasonable. And maybe easier to replace the floors when the new sills are in place. I've been following a guy called Dan Chambers on Youtube and he constructed and welded in what seems to be a sturdy cage inside the car before going through the same process. My plan is to do the same, and it will hopefully help with the integrity as well.

I just need to figure out how to make sure the integrity is right before welding it in. At the moment the rear of my care is actually strapped to the roof in my garage as the jacking points and floor is in very bad shape.

To make everything worse I actually need to replace the roof as well, but that's another story ;)
