Hi Guys,
I have collected all the bits for my shell to rebuild it except for a front panel.
I see VW Heritage are sellling non genuine ones, are they any good or is there a recomendation on the a vendor to use for a better fitting panel?
Thanks

Drill the spot welds out along the around the inner wings, cut it free from the chassis legs and it's off! That makes it sound really easy but getting it off the chassis legs isn't the easiest of things but once a that's out the way it's plain sailing! Get the new one in place, clamp it up and weld away! Retrofication make a cross member brace, I'd suggest buying one then you can bolt it in before welding so you know everything is central! ✌🏽️

Looks good. Just removing wings from my donor. Can't believe how much effort needed to remove sealer..makes me wonder why used bolts. But seeing how well your front panel has gone all is not lost on donor car.
