possibly, i assume yours is bust? if so try stripping it down it may just be the impeller is slipping, the mk3 one may swap over?

link shows broken impeller on a mk3 pump? i have a working mk3 pump and a dead mk1 pump?

my point is you may be able to fix the mk1 impeller, link to pics were just to show what you are dealing with ;)

its a plastic gear wheel with a metal insert, take it apart and see how bad yours is. you cant loose anything by doing this if yours is broken anyway!

worst case if totally shot compare your pump to the mk3 one you may be able to use parts from it or the whole thing. the part numbers are different though. the mk3 pump lists the impeller as available seperately but no such luck for the mk1 unit

What's wrong with pump has the actual  motor stopped working? If so have you checked you have supply going to the pump?

If it's whirring but no roof action, look at the impeller situation.

You should be able to get the impeller drive only. it comes with a new seal and screws. I've got one in my spares box. Will dig it out and send you part number if need be. The only way of checking the MK3 pump is to try and swap it anyway, especially if the motor is kaput.
The pumps look very similar physically.
