Rear plastic panel 'GTI' (Porsche style)

Hi, I am new on here but I am in the process of buying a MK1 for my girlfriend (I currently own a MK4 R32). I have seen a wonderful example driving around West London and it has a plastic panel that goes across the breadth of the rear lights which says 'GTI' in the style of a 911. I've seen it on the odd mk1 video in the past, but can never seem to find the part…does anyone here know what this item is, and if so, where it can be sourced (if it can be!).

these are called a Heckblende and go for £100+ on ebay, GTI ones seem to be rarer and i know someone who reversed over his :/
