It isn't in great condition to say the least, but interested in knowing if it is genuine, I think it is but just need a bit of assurance.
Also what's all this white rubbery stuff? I guess the yellowish stuff is waxoil, but along the join with the door pillar there is tonnes of this white stuff. It's like tiling grout but hard and rubbery and nearly half an inch thick in the corner!!

Hi The white rubber substance is joint sealer or as we call it here in South Africa Tuff Gaurd lining. Our cars mostly come out of the factory with it. The fenders look original do they have a vw or audi mark stamped anywhere

Looks like a genuine VW Audi stamp in the first picture. If that is on the inside, on the part of the wing nearest the door (when fitted) then it's genuine.

I would say it looks original, the white rubbery sealer was what vw used when they made the car as I've got it all over my inner wings and I know they are the original vw wings vw fitted when the car was made.

Thanks all.
I thought they were genuine but wasn't sure. Gutted there's a load of rust on the bottom edges
