After some advice please.
I am in the process of putting my car back together and currenlty putting all the glass in, however, I am having a tough time with the doors.
I am struggling with the window guide that sits in between the quarter window and the main glass. Can anyone advise what it the easiest and correct way to reinstall them? I have painted them and really don't want them scratched, but the only way I seem to be able to get them back in is to force them.
When I removed them a while back, I didn't take much care as they needed painting. Obviously a different story now they have.
Thanks
David

Just done mine. If u slide them from the bottom opening and angle them horizontal to get the bottom in. I jammed a bit of rag in the glass opening to open it up abit to give extra room. Then put the top screw in. Then fit the window reg then the top seal on door and then fit glass . When glass is in put the middle and bottom Pop rivet in your painted guide.
Thanks for the suggestion mate, will give it a shot!
Wish me luck!

Instead, I taped them up to avoid scratching them, then went in from the top. I needed to turn them when in, but managed to do this by pulling the door apart a little to make the gap a little bigger - Had help from the old man.
