Hello All,
Does anyone have any pictures or details on a fire extinguisher bracket that fits under the seat… so it slides with the seat ?
Looking for a non invasive - hole drilling solution …
Not sure of the make anymore .I've seen them for sale in the past… but not been quick enough..
Any help appreciated ..
Cheers,
Adam.

I know what you mean and it doesn't help but there was one for sale here roughly 3 years ago but that was the last time I saw one.
So I'm guessing but if you find one it's going to be really expensive!
If I see one I'll give you a shout.

I had part of a bracket in my audi 80 that I think was for an extinguisher. It fixed to the bolt that stops the seat sliding out of the rails. I will get a pic but think it has parts missing from the bracket( edit, looking at the page above it is like the part that fixes to the seat just missing the black part)

That would be great if you could, I think that would be similar to some I've seen on Vortex.
Some of the designs on there seem simple enough… Just a question of strength I think
Cheers
Adam.

Yep, that's part of the same thing, but just an earlier version with a slightly different way of securing itself.
Like most Votex accessories someone else made it and VW just re-branded them.
I can't remember the name of the original manufacturer of these brackets, it may well be stamped on the part you have?
If I do recall it I'll stick up a post here, they turn up on eBay.de occassionally if you search the makers name.

I had one for a bit, but took it off as I got fed up with the wife booting it off the front of the seat whenever she got in the car! the securing bracket was not the best

I always carried it in the boot….. for years..Even in my MG's…. funny thing is I never needed it… I guess it was like insurance.
It hangs on the wall of my garage tho now.

Thanks for all the replies.
Yeah they don't look the most robust was just an idea for mounting one without introducing any new holes.
I think I may well run with mine in the boot… They don't seem to be many about.. plus like you say Brian… It's the insurance of having one than not..
Thanks for the input all
Cheers,
Adam
