Dumb Ass needs help

Hi,

I am trying to fit rear speakers to my MK1 but having troubles.  I cant seem to remove the rear window winder from the panel and dont want to break it doing so.  Is there a obvious yet simple method of removable?

You need to carefully prise the plastic casing away and pivot it, gripping it at the edge and where the winder is held on. This should then reveal a philips head screw. Undo that and the winder ought to pull off.
