Drivers side window does not go all the way down

My drivers side window glass does not go all the way down. There is about 30mm left that stays up.Annoying when I want to rest my arm on the door whilst driving!How can I fix this? The passenger window glass goes all the way down.

You will need to take the door panel off and look inside, easy job just takes a little time and a philips type screw driver for the window winder and the arm rest.  The panel just unclips. Then have a look inside the door and see if anything is catching. When i did mine it was the actual winding mechanism then was rusted, took the whole thing out and gave it a good coating of grease and re fitted.

I had my door apart earlier to try and cure a rattle especially when closing the door.  What I found was an old knife and the bottom of the winder track loose.  There is a 10mm bolt that holds the winder track in place which you access via the bottom of the door.  Whilst mine was slightly loose and contributing to the rattles it had allowed the track to twist slightly, the window like yours also would not fully go down.  When I straightened the track and tightened it all worked fine.  You might just want to check that when you are having a look.
