Clipper front spoiler fitment: Will a Mk2 early 16V fit?

Interchangeable parts

I fitted a Mk2 16V front spoiler to my previous tintop, it is a near perfect fit. The Mk1 front lower valance is maybe 10-15mm shorter than the Mk2, but fitting is easily facilitated with a little bit of black sikaflex at teh corners and the standard screw fixings.  It looked factory, with a neater front end and air ducts to cool the brakes too.

Now… my question is. Has anyone fitted the Mk2 16V lower front spoiler to a Mk1 with the clipper kit?  Does it fit?  any mods required, and possibly final question, anyone got one for sale?

thanks
