Can’t remove boot lock barrel

Hi I’ve been reading up on this but just can’t work it out.
I’ve removed the main catch to reveal the barrel. But I just can’t get it out.
I read the hard nylon/plastic outer seal should come out - but doesn’t.
Elsewhere I read you push the latch in from the outside to reveal a pin you need to knock out. I can see that but there’s no way to get a drift and hammer in there.
I’m obviously missing something as it shouldn’t be this hard!

That pin isn't in there tight. make sure that you have the key inserted, and removes out the front IIRC. I am on massive painkillers right now.
