Hi, my mk1 came with black leather Mk1 Audi TT Standard 8N seats.
There’s a yellow connector on the bottom which I’m guessing is for heated seats as all the seat adjustments are manual levers.
Anyone done this before?

You’ll need a pin out of the connectors.
But you’ll need the loom and switches.
Usually ign live, Illumination feed for switches, earth etc.
I’d ask on the TT forums to see if anyone has the wiring diagram.
On the golf it’s Usually grey/blue wire behind ashtray is switch illumination, earth claw under dash passenger side. Along with extra spades on the fuse box at D1 I switch live think.
