Mk1 1100

Hey I just got myself a Mk1 with a 1100 motor . Would just like to know what can I do the make it run more effectively  or what upgrades can be done ?  Don't want to do an engine swap because I already have another Mk1 with a swapped motor . And any pics of them with shaved bay or evens just a wire tuck ?  Don't get much on the Internet with this 1.1 motor's  just get some pics with bike carbs.  I know there might be a thread somewhere but I'm new to forum.
