Too many coilovers

Post

I'm researching which coilovers to buy and I'm slightly bewildered by the brands and options.

I have a budget of about £600 for the parts and the car's going to spend 70% of its time in London bouncing up and down on speed bumps and the remainder enjoying B roads.

Any recommendations and tips are welcome

Thanks
Richard

I've had a few sets of coilover on various cars. All cheapo sets and I would stay clear of them

I know classic vw are selling a nice set of mid range at the minute

It's  definitely worth saving up for the  high end of the market,  I've  used  Kw  and thought they were good,  but  I've  also  used  cheap ones  and  they  spoilt the  drive of the car  tbh

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

I had a Koni set on my Mk4 golf, they were seized in no time and failed in 4 years. I will be sticking to normal suspension on my Mk1.
