MK1 with MK2 TD engine gear linkage fouling downpipe

Have recently been putting in a mk2 TD in my mk1. one of the gear linkage bars fouls the exhaust downpipe C clamp. I knew this already and I had found a thread where someone had fab'd up a different shaped bracket to overcome the problem but I have searched and searched but I cant find it anymore.



Has anyone else done this and able to send me a photo or does anyone know where I can find this build post again?

I actually have the very linkage that JellyBelly made sat in my garage if you are interested?

I have since had a downpipe and system made so its spare

haha whats the new down pipe look like cavs ?
