MK1 R32 conversion Fueling

Post

Im in the process of collecting parts for my R32 swap. Currently running a 1.3 on bike carbs so only fed by a mechanical pump i believe?

Whats the best/easiest way for me to fuel this conversion?

Ive gone over posts from a few years back re this topic and there seems to be varying answers, just wondered if more people have done this since and if there's more info on it kicking about.

Ive seen lift pumps from late cabbys mentioned or getting a whole gti set up but dont really know what to shoot for. It'll be a track car so also not against running a tank in the boot.

If it helps, or if anyone knows what'll work from it, i have access to the whole fueling set up from a mk2 16v a friends currently breaking. no idea if thats of any use in this situation.

TIA.

Hello,

For this I was planning to run the standard GTI setup as the K-Jet pump runs at something like 5 bar which should provide (so I was told) more than adequate fuelling for a turbocharged 6-cylinder lump.  If you search around on the forum there are a number of threads discussing this.
