Mk1 Cabby Manual Roof To Electric Roof how?

Hi guys I'm sure this maybe has been covered but i can't find it.

At the min i have a 83 cabby with a manual roof, and there is a chap selling the electric with rams, wires switch etc.
and my hood/roof is shot, so  I'm thinking remove my hood and fit the electric one……
I'm guessing welding mounts for the rams and wire in the electrics?

If anyone has a how to guide with a parts list i would be massively grateful!

Just buy a new outer covering roof.
The problem is with swapping stuff is your putting old stuff on still.
So you don't know how it's been looked after. Or how good it is really.
Buy the time you've spent time and money on old stuff it may we'll of been cheaper to put new on.
If the headliner and padding/interliner needs doing yes it's not cheap but it won't need touching for years apart from cleaning and treating.
