caddy and mk1 gti nice and low but killing sumps
Hi all both my mk1 gti and caddy are run as low as I can on their coilies its just the way I like it
my question is the sumps sit so low they don't last very long(obviously as a result of me running nice and low)
I know on my mk4 estate I got some plates that raised the engine up giving more clearance but they have a subframe so not too bad to do
is there anything like that for the mk1 model or has anybody done this
any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

not easy due to the design of the mounts, are you using the proper mk1 golf sumps as these are a fair bit shallower than the later 85 onwards ones

Raising the mounts isn't easy in a mk1.
