1.4 16v DOHC AFH into 1.5

Got myself a AFH engine and gearbox all ancillaries and driveshafts if required!

has anyone ever fitted one into a Mk1 and can give me any advice before we get started?

the car is currently in for a respray, and when it's back we will get cracking on the engine?

this is a smallblock engine and your car is big block, so you'll have to chop driver side mount off the leg and flip it upside down and move further forward. so not an easy swap and best get on the phone to body shop before it gets painted!
