wouldnt start on a hill but worked after bump start?..

hi guys, I was pointing downwards on the hill, turned engine off as I was waiting for my mate. I went to start it and nothing at all.. just keep turning over.

I did pumped peddle a few times.. any ideas to why she wouldn't start?

She was only off for 2 minutes or so.. and engine was already hot etc

Check the battery - perhaps not spinning mechanical fuel pump over quick enough. Possible fuel evoporation - check the carb has the metal plate fitted

Hi the carb perfect, might be battery. It happened again but this time I was on a flat surface literally had the radio on for 1 minute then tried to start it and it wouldn't go :/

Left for a few minutes, pulled choke out slightly and worked fine

Just thinking when you said pulled choke out slightly - check the float in the carb not sticking
