will mk1 jetta 1.3 driveshafts fit a mk1 golf 1.3?

hi been trying to find 1.3 mk1 golf driveshafts everywhere, can only find cv joint!
need to know if mk1 jetta 1.3 driveshafts would fit a mk1 golf 1.3? (or are there any other driveshafts that fit?).

my logic is that the jetta had the same engine as the golf and the jetta is just a golf but with a longer back end! dunno if this is right but i think it might be? :dontknow:

hiya, not gonna say 100% yes they will fit but just had a look on etka (VW Parts catalogue) and the part numbers seem to match up, I think…. And the fact the cars are the same pretty much. Why dont you sign up to Vagcat takes 2 mins.
Where are you in the world Ryhs?

Unless they are years apart (shouldn't be as Jetta was essentailly a Series 2 only in UK) they should swap straight over.
