which 1300cc head has standard solid lifters

i have always thought and have been told that the mk1 golf 1300cc head has the solid lifters but have also been told that a mk3 golf head has these. but there was never a 1300cc mk3 golf. im confused which one to go for.

I can confirm that the Mk1 1272 Golf Driver has solid lifters

Don't know when they went to hydraulic tappets

VW changed to hydrauic lifter in 1986 in the MK2 Golf

the mk3 1.4 is a hydraulic head.
