what is this hose called? 1.1 engine

could someone tell me the name of the hose and also the vw code for the one in the picture please.

the one on the pic is the metal shiny one. its obviously not a standard one but if you could advice on the original it would be appriciated.

Not sure of official name or number, but its avalible from GSF, they sell it as Beetle (the old air cooled ones) hot air hose in metre lengths. Hope this helps

While your there you better get some front top mounts 'cause those are cream crackered  8O

Not sure, it was for my Cabrio which uses a similar arrangement around the back of the engine.  I either measured the bits the hose fits over or took the remains of the orginal in and matched up with what they had in, they currently list;

appriciate your help. im probably best giving them a call and giving them these codes and then advising me which would be suitable as a direct orginal replacement.

This should be the one you need.. sold in lengths of well over a metre, so you will get several go's out of it.

Andy the hose that BBT supplied was too big would need to be around 15mm smaller i think? maybe 20?

as is was cheap its not worth me posting back ill find another use for it
