What is this for?

I put a green circle round it. Can someone tell me what should be on it please? Its deffenatley had something on it because its really clean. Its on my 1.1 formel e thats just been put in.

looks like the link for the vacuum resevior to me.

Think Nova is right definatley a vacuum related bit, which vacuum pipes have you got that are not connected up ? (Distributor/temp valve in air-box).

Never seen one of those on a small block. Looks like part of autochoke system from a big block engine, did the Formel have an autochoke?

Actually isn't that the vacuum feed to the brake servo? Maybe the vacuum supply for the Formel E gear change/economy gauge :dontknow:

no the feed to the servo is the pipe it's run off.

that little thing is the vacuum resivior line.

on my 1.1 i believe it has a short vacuum pipe which runs from the bit you've circled to the yellow piece right next to it on the same pipe, i'll try and get you a picture tomorrow
