what engine do i have??????

hi on my logbook it says i have a 1093 cc engine but the air filter i bought didn't fit in the airbox so does anyone know the engine codes to distinguish what engine i have,

The 1093cc engine has code FA. It should be on the log book at the start of the engine number if you can't read it on the engine block.

The air filter is a round, pancake shape.

so where can i find the engine no. on the block all i can find at the minute is 5340hb which is below the distributor on the top of the engine block,

Try looking at the white label on the back panel just above the spare wheel well. You won't find the engine code stamp, it's a pig to read when the engine is hanging from a crane at eye level.

What shape filter were you supplied and what shape is the airbox on your engine?
